She swears she is human, refuses to go to the bathroom outside, sleeps in the bed, and prefers to be warm and comfortable then to be barking and being a dog.

The joy that she is small, doesn't shed, doesn't bark often, and is friendly to everyone is a plus!

Yet she did go through stages of not going to the bathroom where needed, chewing up cords, my pillow, my glasses and my prized action figures! Only during those times do she not get love from m e. but I love her like my own, and overall she is great company, and quite funny.ShawnQthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15147916946659284843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12180121.post-82418315608346886932009-01-28T15:18:00.000-05:002009-01-28T15:18:00.000-05:00Hey, how are you doing? Getting a second one right now may even extend Busta's life a couple of years if they get along.

I have two cockerspaniels, a brother and sister from the same litter. Their names are Gracy and Griffen. They have two totally different personalities. Though they eat the same amount of food the girl has weight issues and the boy is as skinny as he wants to be. She is laid back and chill while he bounces off the walls at all hours of the day. The best part is that they compliment each other so well and I don't know what I would do without either one of them!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12180121.post-18403013016400284552009-01-27T00:40:00.000-05:002009-01-27T00:40:00.000-05:00I am SOOO not a dog person, but I understand the v...I am SOOO not a dog person, but I understand the value of having a companion around. I don't know what I'd do without my two bratty-cats around.

With that said, when my ex-wife adopted a greyhound a few years back, I thought my attitude would change towards canines, but worsened.

That damn dog, the "devil dog," constantly barks (which I didn't think Greyhounds did), is hyper as hell, and is begging for food 24/7! Ugh! No patience.

My cats give me the flexibility to come and go, and give me attention just when I need it. However, your little photo almost (ALMOST) makes me wanna adopt a dog after Giblet and Itchy pass on...hopefully not for a long while though! At 7 and 10, I expect around for at least another 10 more years. They're both indoor cats.

"PA"Ianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12989282312784842266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12180121.post-17703676775044460652009-01-26T21:45:00.000-05:002009-01-26T21:45:00.000-05:00I would love to get my 4 year old son a dog, but i...I would love to get my 4 year old son a dog, but im sure i'll be the only one to give it ALL thats required. Do you have any suggestions for a boy friendly dog. I always hear that Golden Retrievers are a good choice but still not sure. But waking up to her licking my face (especially when I know I left her in the cage the night before) is adorable. Running with her around the neighborhood is a joy! She can be a handful at times, but I doubt I ever made a better decision.Nobody not really...https://www.blogger.com/profile/04486066073903759496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12180121.post-33020937755736215492009-01-26T16:09:00.000-05:002009-01-26T16:09:00.000-05:00Did I ever tell you about Regan the Irish Setter? ...Did I ever tell you about Regan the Irish Setter? My Dad brought her home from a cross country trip...she lived up to her name and played every bit of the role in tearing what little furniture my mother had UP.

I wept uncontrollably the day my Mom gave her to a super across Devoe Park.

I dont know about the breed you chose. We've gotten so used to having Busta around: taking him for walks, feeding with him, playing with him, I think a new baby in the house would be a good thing. This way Junior (aka 'the Mini') would be able to grow up with him and ultimately (hopefully) conquer his fear of dogs.
My fear is slowly dissipating.

I know it started when I was younger (around 5 or 6) my cousins used to sic their dog on me and terrorize me every chance they got (the bastards!) Karma is a beeyotch...those same cousins, today don't have a steady job, a pot to piss in and missing the majority of their teeth...(Oops did I say that?)
Anyway it's taken me a while, but I could definitely go for a new dog. There's enough love to go around.Achilleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06824876832040987429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12180121.post-983809654788604722009-01-26T13:13:00.000-05:002009-01-26T13:13:00.000-05:00I don't do dogs. At the moment, he's living with about 12 other dogs on a huge farm about 50 miles west of Baltimore. He loves it.

I miss him sometimes.Mr. Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02231406990703923642noreply@blogger.com
