Morning Edition - 10/23/07

On Blast
Life can sometimes give us a swift kick to our backsides and leave us feeling like we're not entitled to the better things - or even better people - in life. It is at these times that we should take a deep breath and realize that we are worthy of all that life has to offer. Miki Howard's Love Under New Management was a song that pulled my heartstrings back in the day. Today, I can actually sing the song with my soul - mainly because I'm living it. Yes, there were dark days, but right now, I'm enjoying my love under its new management.
Do you understand what it will take for you to experience love under new management?

Keep passin' the open windows...

Of course I do - it takes a strong sense of self mixed with enough of my history to appreciate my destiny. That's really the only way to experience true love under new management. Besides, it would be new management if old management had it all together. Humility is a many splendid thing.

New management is realizing the things that were'nt so good (under the old managment) are now being repaired (or restructured) for the betterment of both parties involved. I'm feeling your post.

I am happy to say I found that love inside long ago, sir. Although, I will say it is sometimes hard to keep hold of it.....

A new manager cares about you, himself, and the welfare of the relationship. He addresses problems while always praising the positives about the relationship. He verbalizes his commitment while securing your commitment through his love and devotion. That's what I'm talking about.

No, I don't understand what it'll take. I've been single for 18 months now and at times desperately want to be in an relationship.

I don't know when or why or how, but I'm sure I'll find love (or vice-versa) again...eventually.

The good timesand the bad. Love and life. Learn from the bad times and hold the good times close to my heart. I love the relationship I have today.
