Cocoa's Next Top Puppy

Puppies are hard work, but if you do a great job you're rewarded with a magnificent addition to your family. As I mentioned before, Busta has been a respected member of my family for 10 years now. I've started looking for a puppy that fits our family and have now narrowed our choices to a splendid Chow-Chow or a regal Doberman pup. Both are equally beautiful and healthy pups. Now, the conversation with the breeders may break down after some negotiation, but the breeder business is like the auto industry, they need us more than we need them. I don't subscribe to the notion that you're going to hold me over the fire AND take my money. I'll keep you posted - even with pics - on our family's very own Next Top Puppy.

Attached is today's front runner to be Cocoa's Next Top Puppy

puppy breeders try to strong arm folks...
they'll throw the ones they cannot sell into a burlap sack and straight into the river before they have to feed another yapping mouth...so just keep that in mind when negotiating...

I'm juuuuust sayiiinnnggg....

I am one of the Breeders "Cocoa's " contacted..LOOKING FOR HIS TOP PUP.... after a quick Internet search I found this blog.I DO CHECK OUT MY BUYERS... as in the email written to the MR. COCOA'S I don't look at selling my pups as the auto industry,, nor do I hold buyers feet over the fire.. and the last post that BREEDERS THROW THERE PUPS IN THE RIVER.. well that is sick I breed show and family COMPANIONS.I breed basset hounds and I love the breed.... not all breeders are good but too group us that we all are money grubbing killers .. is wrong..

WRITTEN TO COCOA'S.....
Just as buyers checks out breeders... I check out my potential buyers... I found your blog interesting and well written. I checked it out further... and what I read here disturbs me... first off never have I once gone in a transaction with a buyer and looked at ... as the auto industry I want to make sure my puppy goes to the right person... and why did you pick the breed you have chosen to get? A basset hound is on the other end of the spectrum,,, compared to your regal Doberman Pincher.. ? Hold your feet over the fire and take your money? Ummm ? no .... I would have no intention in doing that..I care about who gets my dogs... I don't feel you are the right person for my puppies... so have a great day.. Please provide size and temperament info for sire/dam. I'm interested in pup 3 and would like current pics. Can those be provided. Are there current pics of sire/dam as well?

Thank you.

Dear HillBilly...
Thanks for looking up my personal blog and looking up a post that clearly was written one month prior to my contact with you. As you may imagine, my family takes dog ownership very seriously - hence my 10-year old miniature schnauzer who we treasure - but you must admit that the dog breeding industry is a tough one. My family has not finalized our decision on what breed we want so Chows, Dobies and yes, even Bassets have been part of our search. I don't control what my friends post as comments nor will I erase your comment. I understand and appreciate your misinterpreting my buyer-frustration, but it was intended as frustration to be shared with my circle and not with buyers. As the saying goes, "Seek and ye shall find," well, you have found my personal blog and am glad you have read up on me, my family and my frustration shopping for our new family member. That said, good luck with your beautiful puppies. May they be blessed with a home as good as mine.
