The Gambler

On Blast
Do you know when to hold them....know when to fold them...know when to walk away and know when to run?

Keep passin' the open windows...

Dear god, no. And that's a problem I've always had. I'm so thankful that I'm not a gambler. I'd be one of those people who do really well in Vegas and lose it all b/c I got greedy. Story of my life...

The Gambler is metophorical for knowing when to handle your business.
Kenny Rogers should get more props than he usually does. That song was tough...and I say the words to that song to my sons all the time.
"You gotta know when to hold em" - this means, to me, know what is worth holding on to
"You gotta know when to fold em" - know when to give it up and turn it loose peeps!
"Know when to walk away" - give em that sweet a-- to kiss while you're walking away
"Know when to run" - if the danger light flashes inside your pretty little head, get out and get out FAST.
"You never count your money, when you're sittin' at the table" - Dont let anyone know how much you have, what you have etc...vultures and leeches are EVERYWHERE
"They'll be time enough for countin when the dealings done"
Keep it to yourself

It depends. When it comes to relationships...sometimes I don't know when to just fold and cut my losses...
