Morning Edition - 12/18/06

On Blast
There are many lessons learned in life, but there's always that one lesson that, as you look back, you can say, "I learned from the best, I learned from you..."
Who was that teacher; what was that lesson?

Keep passin' the open windows...

I've had some many lessons learned from so many people that I consider it a HUGE blessing. Everything that I have learned was and still is very valuable to me.

There are so many, but since I am at work there is one that stands out. My former director told me 12 years ago, "never let them see you sweat." I thought how dare she when she was the one. Four months ago she recommended me for a position at another company that keeps me on the road, and that is paying for my classes.

The one lesson that always stays with me and keeps me at the ready is, expect anything from anyone and you’ll never be surprised. My girlfriend Leona (wisdom personified) told me that anyone is capable of anything and if I always remember that I would never feel side-swiped by life.

Thank you Leona! I’ve learned so much from you!!

Wow that was one helluva question. I think that many people can sing that song in the mirror to thier reflections (Whitney Houston included). I would sing it to myself because I taught myself to be strong. I could start preaching but I will save my sermon for another day...lol. Lets just say, this past year has been a lesson in strength for me.

I think I have learned too much about myself this past year. I don't know how to put it all into perspective but I know that as I move forward in life, I will have so much to look back on and hopefully all these things that I learned will help guide me in the right direction.
