Morning Edition - 9/26/06

Diversity; Fact and Fiction
Over 41% of the state and federal inmate population is African American males, while only 4% of the population of institutions of higher learning is African American males. Obstacles ranging from poor public education, high drop-out rates, lack of male role models and low aspirations have been sited as the reasons behind the numbers, but there are those African American males that do struggle to get higher education degrees and are finding it harder and harder to break the glass ceiling and hold key corporate positions. Some attribute the disparity in promotion opportunities to lack of preparation and experience, but the fact remains that African Americans must be better than their competitors to move ahead. Rather than feel victimized by the powers-that-be, parents, guardians and mentors of African American youngsters should instill a drive to be prepared and disregard the notion that equality exists in corporate America. It isn’t enough to have a higher education. Youngsters must have a plethora of interests and social skills to help maneuver them into positions that persistently escape the grasp of African American professionals. As unfair as it may appear to be required to be twice as qualified as your competitors to excel, African American youngsters should accept this as a reality of success.

Temporary Neutering? Anal Penetration
The prostate is a gland located adjacent to the anus. Milking the prostate is a process in which the prostate is massaged (during either anal penetration or through external massaging of the perineum) until the seminal fluids in it are expelled. It is considered a prostate orgasm. No genital stimulation is necessary. The prostate is considered a man’s A-Spot (rather than G-spot) meaning Peace Place. Following having his seminal fluids drained a man experiences a peaceful sense of relief and does not experience genital stimulation or erection – it is a temporary neutering of sorts. Not every instance of anal penetration will produce a prostate orgasm and the need for genital stimulation is not replaced by this orgasm. This procedure is also done in a medical setting to relieve chronic prostatitis. There is no permanent damage to the prostate gland during prostate orgasms and the feeling of sexual resolution (climax) is not experienced.

J-Timb; B-Day; Coming Home
Brining Sexy Back has its benefits. Justin Timberlake is celebrating holding the number one spot on both the top 100 and top 200 Billboard charts. His Future Sex / Love Sounds CD has been on the charts for one week. My girl, Beyonce Knowles (B) has her claws in the number 3 spot with B-Day. Her CD has also been on the charts for one week. Most surprising is Lionel Richie’s Coming Home – brand new to the scene – and already holding the number 6 spot. Who knew?

On Blast
Most companies have plans in place to encourage a diverse workforce. Do you still believe that racism and prejudice affect hiring and promotions in corporate America? Have you ever experienced an incidence of discrimination in the workplace? What, if anything, did you do about it?

Keep passin’ the open windows…

I don't get it...how is it a g/a spot if you don't eventually have an orgasm. I actually saw this done in a movie called "Road Trip"-the movie was hilarious.and the dude who was getting his prostate "milked" seemed very, very happy.

Today is my oldest sons birthday - 14! Time sure does fly when you are having the time of your life : ). So I would like to send birthday wishes to my pride and joy othrough cyberspace and I want the words to live forever...son, you are the best thing that ever happened to me, a lesson in love, a joy in my heart that will never be matched and the most wonderful human being I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Happy, happy birthday baby!

And as for the on blast question...racist crap is still EVERYWHERE - especially in the schools. You must fight - we all must fight - to end the bullshit and do everything to ensure our children receive the education they are entitled to. The only way to stop the diabolic is through educated minds.

Have a great day everyone!

Racism is still very much alive and well in the workforce. There was a thing on 20/20 last week showing that 2 people with identical resumes (One having a "regular" name One having and "ethnic" name.) The people with ethnic names were 17% less likely to have their resumes even reviewed. If thats not racism... And thats just hiring practices stuff, we wont even get into when you actually do get the job.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY NEPHEW BR!! ...AND HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO MY OTHER NEPHEW CC!! THE BOYS ARE GROWIN' UP! WHICH ONLY MEANS YOU'RE GETTIN' OLD! SEE, I'M THE COOL UNCLE THAT NEVER GETS OLD AND TELLS THEM HOW CRAZY THEIR MOMMAS ARE... LOL

ON THE PROSTATE ORGASM THING... YEAH, YOU DO EXPERIENCE A PROSTATE ORGASM, BUT YOU DON'T NECESSARILY EXPERIENCE A GENTIAL ONE... ALTHOUGH THAT CAN HAPPEN TOO. I THINK THE POINT IS THAT THE PROSTATE ORGASM DOESN'T INCLUDE GENITAL STIMULATION.

ON BLAST: YES, RACISM IS ALIVE AND WELL. I TRY TO TREAT EVERYONE, FROM THE JANITOR TO THE CEO, WITH THE SAME LEVEL OF RESPECT AND EXPECT THE SAME. I DON'T GIVE ADDITIONAL RESPECT OR COURTESY NOR DO I EXPECT ANY...IF THE WHEEL IS BROKE FIX IT OR BUY A NEW BIKE - TRANSLATION: IF YOU'RE NOT GETTING AHEAD WHERE YOU'RE AT AND YOU HAVE DONE ALL YOU CAN TO FURTHER YOURSELF - FROM RESUME PREP TO POLISH - THEN ROLL THE F*CK OUT! LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO BE UNHAPPY...

DAYNE...I SEE U! LOL

Racism will live forever. I experienced it first when I was 27. Several white's in my department were promoted, leaving other positions vacation. I knew that I would be promoted to Mgr., but never. When I addressed the situation with my boss, the new Assoc. Dir., he told me that the position wasn't going to be filled, it wasn't needed. A few years later, my boss, then Associate Dir was demoted back to manager because he wasn't fulfilling his duties. They never gave thought to firing him, need I say more. If he were Black there would have been Black skid marks on the pavement from dragging is azz off the property.

First we ALL need to recognize that racism is alive and well. No need to fool yourself.
Second, We need to compete from within the ranks. Play the game until you are able to make decisions that can affect your people. That is NOT a sell-out, I see it as undercover work. We can't enforce/make change looking thru the glass window. We need to be inside the room. Education is our most valuable key that we as minorities have. If your not educated, realize that your kids/nephews/cousins/nieces all need a good education to make change in the future generations. Those that say, "I'm too old", you azz ain't dead yet. What you do and how you do it affects every child looking at you. If you can't fight for yourself, fight for your kids and their kids.
Third and final...mentor your younger bruthas and sisters whenever possible. If you see them dressing/acting inappropriately, pull their azz to the side and use it as an education opportunity. The workplace is Not the club or your sofa...
Together we, BLACKs Hispanics, and other minorities and force a change in our communities.
P.S. A white middle class family's 2.3 G.P.A. child is more likely to obtain a college education than a Black kid with a 3.0 G.P.A....
WHAT DO THEY KNOW THAT WE DON'T?

I'll be the bigger man and let your remarks pass like water under my bridge. You can take your little 2" high private eye azz to the dwarfs bowling tornament and be thrown down the alley.
