Gay or Slick?
Jimi Hendrix, legendary rock guitarist, was discharged from the US Army in 1962 for “homosexual tendencies.” According to Room Full Of Mirrors a new biography by Charles R. Cross, Cross was able to unearth Hendrix’ medical records to reveal that his conversations with a military shrink in Kentucky mentioned he was in love with one of his squad mates and couldn’t stop masturbating. Hendrix was known for being a womanizer and there is no evidence to show he ever had a homosexual experience.

Lee Morgan got engaged to Sherrie Smith on Christmas Day. Unfortunately, Morgan was so distraught and disheveled by New Year’s Eve that he argued with his girlfriend, left a party and then beamed streaming film via telephone of his suicide jump from Humber Bridge in London. "I could see the lights. It went black and the phone cut out,” Smith said. Ironically, Smith said she told Morgan to calm down and telephone her in the morning when he announced he was leaving the party. Unfortunately, Morgan called one hour later with the disturbing footage.
Berry, Berry Bad Weather
The Michigan Blueberry Growers Association said blueberries and other berries were suffering due to the high temperatures and sweltering humidity. "Anytime the temperatures get above 85 and 90 degrees, and you have humidity and lack of rain, then the plants suffer," said Ray Tejchma, owner of T-Berry Farms Inc. in Ottawa County’s Grand Haven Township.
