Morning Edition - 6/28/05

Flo-Jo Mornin'
I was out on Annual Leave yesterday - my apologies on no Morning Edition - and have returned to a ton of e-mail, requests and demands... you'd think a brotha was runnin' the place! At any rate, we'll work on having an Afternoon Edition filled with a Pride weekend wrap-up and July 16 catch-up....along with some other juicy tid-bits. Miss ya' all!

Don't forget to post an On Blast question for our Afternoon Edition on this Morning Edition's Comments.

Keep passin' the open windows...

On Blast question: What is love?

Love a cinderella story made up w/out telling you the gory details afterwards (the cleaning, arguing, getting tired).

Love is just a word that we give meaning to it. Love for a parent or child is different from that of a lover.

Love is…
When two people accept each other for better AND worse
When their differences become their similarities
When the sweat on their neck becomes a fragrance
When their laughter is the most important you could hear
And, their tears and sadness a urgency that you must comfort
When their likes become the others desire
And, when a kiss, a touch, a smile and I LoveYou,
Are the great expressions of happiness in the world

If you could Love a Lover like you Love your Mother

A Lover could tell you…

Just how stupid you’ve been
That they don’t really care for your friends
You should never say that again
Don’t bring that thing in here
What the hell did you do to your hair?

But, do you really want a Lover to go there?

Love your child with all your heart, spend time with them and keep them safe from harm. Always show and tell your parents you Love them too. Love your Lover like no one else can do, Love your Lover and your Lover will Love you too.

But then are times when love is just a moment in time and like we all know relationships die and so does the love. So then to me the question what is love? A temporary moment thing? I mean we can give it adjectives to describe it but in the end it comes and goes at least for lover relationship. For our families and children it lasts but our lover relationships I personally believe that's just a moment in time and how can we define that love when it always seems to be so short and doesn't last.
